Ajmichalka

AJ Michalka is an American performer, singer, songwriter, musician and model who was best known as one half of the musician duo "Aly and AJ. The duo performs alongside her sister Aly Michalka. She was born in Torrance, California, AJ was inspired by her mother, Carrie, who herself was an accomplished musician. AJ had the bulk of her growing up in Torrance in addition to Seattle as well as Milwaukee. The sisters were able to play the guitar and the piano from a young age. At the time they were teenagers, they were specialists in their fields. AJ started acting when she was just 5 years old. She was also a performer in theatre productions at churches. AJ performed in the school's musical productions. AJ first made an acting appearance in 2002, when she was an 11-year old child, playing one small part in the series 'Passions.'
